The algorithmic approach that has been codified within Proof mathematically determines the multiple time lag relationships among performance variables, and, depending on what is calculated, will denote short-term and long-term impacts. Proof customers can quickly see those impacts, and based on their additional contextual knowledge, can determine in what areas they want to increase or reduce investment, depending on the situational demands of the moment and what marketing/communications activities are having the shortest time-to-impact. In other words, the short-term and long-term are calculated simultaneously and automatically.
